POLMIX-AST company operating under the brand of Conmatec.pl is a manufacturer of rubber seals in vulcanisation technology of natural or synthetic rubber mixtures. Seals made in this technology are characterised by high elasticity, durability and resistance to weather conditions or chemical substances. Rubber seals produced by us are used in many sectors of industry.
Starting with machine-industry, defence industry, through construction sector up to food industry or measuring devices. Wherever the tightness of an installation is required, regardless of the medium: oils, gases, liquids or other substances. Depending on the needs, rubber seals are made of NBR, EPDM, FPM, SBR or VMQ rubber/rubber.

NBR (nitril butadiene rubber) – seals made of this material have high resistance to oils and additionally will be very durable and resistant to abrasion. Vulcanizates based on NBR rubber are characterized by high elasticity, breaking strength, low permanent deformation on compression and resistance to oils.

EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer – ethylene propylene diene rubber) – gaskets manufactured from this material are resistant to steam, hot water, alcohols, esters, ketone, ozone, UV radiation and brake fluids. It is resistant to soap solutions and washing agents, refrigerants. This material is a good electrical insulator.

FPM (fluorocarbon rubber) – seals manufactured from this material are resistant to many chemicals, ozone, UV radiation, hydraulic fluids and oils.

SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber) – this material has good physical-mechanical properties and high resistance to bending. It is usually used in sewage systems. Compared to natural rubber, SBR has better resistance to thermal ageing and higher resistance to cracking.

VMQ (vinyl-methyl-silicone) – seals made of this material are used mainly in the food industry. It has good dielectric properties, low permanent deformation under compression.

Conmatec produces rubber seals both in large quantities as well as short series for individual orders, for example from moulds supplied by the customer. There is a possibility of designing moulds and their production on the basis of supplied samples of seals.
